RYAN EDWARDS, MA, LCPC

Serving the Glen Ellyn Area

Life has a variety of events… from success to failure, loneliness to love, tragedy to miracles, and all the in-betweens. In the journey of life, we often use those around us for support and guidance. However, when navigating life’s journey, there are times when we may need a mental health professional’s support and a unique kind of space that is dedicated to direction and support.

About Ryan

In my 17 years in the mental health field, I have worked with patients in various establishments, including in-patient and out-patient hospitals, private practices, and non-traditional settings (including athletic environments). I have worked with various cultures (both domestic and overseas) and with individuals of all ages. All of these experiences have blessed me with the ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. I enjoy incorporating different tools and clinical approaches that are tailored to the diverse needs of the individual.

Ryan's approach to therapy

As a clinical therapist, I provide a nonjudgmental, safe space. As a therapist, I use my array of experiences, both personal and professional, to provide options, insight, tools, validation, and alternative perspectives for my clients. Life’s events and hurdles can be challenging and filled with uncertainty. My approach is to work together as a team… supporting you in the process and accompanying you on your journey. Together, we walk towards desired goals, unspoken needs and new ideas.
